The reason of depression and how changing perception is important

Every individual has a basic need to feel important, loved and cared. We struggle hard to keep our friends close to us, go to work everyday to earn enough money to take care of pur family or the car we need or try to look as impressive as we can. All our aim is to feel like having an important role in community and we deserve love and respect. In other words our lives are all dedicated to other people.
At some point of life that we forget to do things for enjoying and loving ourselves and also convince that we donot deserve to be loved by others as a result of a job loss or by stopping to like appearance in the mirror. At that time that the fuel of love stops to run through our blood, the life appears to be dull, meaningless and worthless. Then the depression comes from the door. The voice in you keeps telling you do not deserve to enjoy life, love yourself or nobody is going to love you.

In beating depression perception towards the criteria of what makes us valueable and loveable is quite crucial. For example for a 60 year old person who doesnt work this is not a problem nor a reason to feel bad. On the other hand as you are 30 years old a job loss is like end of the world and makes you feel depressed. Or again while for a 70 year old man, sexual dysfunction is seen normal, as you are 20 you consider this as a weakness. So it can be seen that rather than the experience, our perception towards experience is more important.

As you are depressed or sad, seeing that mood or depression as a normal part of your life is important in other not to isolate yourself from the society or stop to love yourself.

Being sad, being fired or cheated are normal and possible  issues in life like happiness, love and being rich. We should accept and move on.
